Blackweir Tavern – more information
The SSAFA 5k Road Race Series in Cardiff consists of three 5k Road Races each summer and raises money for the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association, Cardiff & The Vale Region. The Series is held under UK & Welsh Athletics rules and is a CAAC Calendar Event.
FullonSport entry not available at the moment.
You can enter online via the FullonSport website using your FoS account. If you don’t have an account, you can register for one – it’s free – and then enter straight away.
Not only is there is no surcharge for using FoS entry, you can also get a discount by entering all three races online.
As usual, entry on the night is possible using forms which are made available. (Having a pen handy never hurts.)
Last option: download the entry form here for completion by hand in advance. Just remember to bring it with you on the night!
For 2022, we are continuing to use the new course, originally designed (and measured) by Graham Finlayson BEM in 2019 with the Start/Finish line located south of the Ambulance Station.
Access to the Start/Finish line will be signposted from the Blackweir Tavern which will continue to serve as the Race HQ.
As usual, the Series is held under UK & Welsh Athletics rules and is a CAAC Calendar Event.
